MakeMini[Dunedin] was the third event for the MakeMini interactive art platform. The event was held in the back of the Office Furniture warehouse on Vogel Street on the 12th of October 2019.
What did we make?
Participants got together to construct a miniature version of Dunedin with approximately 100 pieces. Pieces included: adults, children, dogs, houses, trees, cars, buildings and some Dunedin icons. The Dunedin icons we made were: Dunedin Railway Station, Larnach Castle, University Clocktower Building, and the Robert Burns statue.

After the event I made a short stop motion starring the pieces that people made.
The experience
The event was well received at Vogel Street Party. There were about 10 + people working over four 4 hours to produce all the pieces, with a few ebbs and flows. The most popular pieces to make were dogs followed by trees.
