Ceramics

Since 2025 I have been doing a lot of ceramic art. I am a member of the wonderful Otago Potters group (https://www.otagopotters.co.nz/). I particularly enjoy doing hand built sculptural pieces that can be hung on a wall or sit on a shelf. I have been really enjoying the exploration of working with clay, firing and glazing works. My style is geometric reduced polygon versions of things such as fish, birds, cats, dogs and more. I have exhibited work at the Otago Art Society and at the 2026 OPG annual exhibition. Some of my work is for sale at the Otago Art Society shop.

Community art

My kaupapa is connecting people to their communities and unlocking their creativity. I develop and deliver approachable and engaging community art projects for all ages. These community art projects are a collaboration between me (the artist) and the community participants. Some projects involve a challenge, game or play. Some are a reflection of the places we live and the people, plants or animals we live with. All projects encourage participation and creative exploration.
